Can you find me work in the area?

We have an extensive old boys network which we often use to find work for new players, however, we cannot guarantee it. Boca Raton is a holiday destination and we have hundreds of restaurants and bars so work in the service industry is usually easy to find.

I've never played before, is that okay?

Sure, every season we usually recruit 1 or 2 people who have never played before. After some training in the basics most new players can usually start to play in B team games within a few weeks. Most rugby players will tell you that you only really start to learn and appreciate the game by playing it anyway.

I'm not really "in-shape".

Well there's no time like the present to start putting that right, take a look at our fitness program found in the left sidebar which will put you in good stead prior to starting training.

Isn't rugby dangerous?

No more so than any other sport. The lack of padding means that you will learn a new way of tackling. Rugby tackles are not football style head-on-collisions, but rather wrapping the opponent's legs so that his own momentum carries him to the ground.
